FORT MYERS, Fla. — Despite the high winds and chilly weather, people gathered for the 2019 Fort Myers Women's March at Centennial Park in downtown Fort Myers.
They marched a day after the national women's march, that occurred all over the United States.
The Women's March Fort Myers posted on Facebook their disconnection with the national organization:
People in hats with homemade signs walked the streets through downtown Fort Myers back to Centennial Park.
