A pedestrian was killed in a single-vehicle crash that happened Saturday night in Charlotte County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers say at approximately 10:59 p.m. a pedestrian was walking in the northbound lane on Taylor Road when a woman driving a 2000 Cadillac struck the pedestrian.
Troopers have ruled out alcohol as a factor in this crash.
The pedestrian has not been identified at this time.
