LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Lehigh Acres Fire is on the scene of a crash at the Sunshine Plaza, 1111 Homestead Rd. N, where a pedestrian walking outside the Family Dollar was injured as a van crashed through the storefront.
Just before 1:30 p.m., a 77-year old Lehigh Acres woman attempting to park a van accidentally jumped the curb and hit a woman on the sidewalk before crashing through the store.
The 57-year-old woman from Fort Myers was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital in serious condition.
LCSO is investigating the crash.
