COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- A heads up for construction workers, or those of you building a home in Collier County.
Two people are facing charges, accused of stealing from construction sites in Golden Gate Estates.
Deputies say earlier this month, Pedro Vanencio and Martha Pena Herebia stole doors, tiles, lumber, paint, and other materials from Bent Creek Preserve and La Morada.
Thursday, construction workers saw the suspects taking more items and alerted deputies.
The suspects had allegedly been storing stolen items in a home in Immokalee.
Both are facing numerous charges, including Tresspass on Construction Site, Grand Theft ($300-$5000), Petit Theft ($100-$300), and Burglary.
