CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — The Charlotte County Sheriffs Office says one of the owners of HD Custom homes has been arrested.
Stephen Dukes,48, was picked up by the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office this morning and is in custody.
Duke has a combined bond of $54,000.
The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office announced yesterday that Stephen Dukes and his partner Matthew Harden were charged with one felony count of scheming to defraud and 12 counts of construction funds' misapplication.
