Florida Highway Patrol is joining law enforcement in four other states to begin "Operation Southern Shield" Monday.
It's a multi-state campaign to combat speeders on highways and by-ways.
Troopers, officers and agents across Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee will be performing stops with particular focus on speed enforcement and education.
"Operation southern shield" runs through Saturday.
