FORT MYERS, FLa. — Tonight, we want to highlight some Fort Myers Police Officers for their work in our community.
Yesterday, eight officers were recognized in a presentation ceremony for the "officers" of the month.
The department says these officers deescalated a domestic violence incident where her partner physically endangered a pregnant woman.
Their supervisor commended them for "taking the immediate action necessary to prevent further harm.
