MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Florida officer is now under investigation after being accused of shooting a teenager on Thanksgiving Day.
According to police, they were called when the 15-year-old started getting violent. The shooting began during the struggle.
The teen was staying at a foster home in Miami-Dade, and neighbors and family said the woman who took the teen in loves to help others.
A lawyer confirmed this is the second shooting involving that officer. He's now been placed on administrative duties, but officers say he'll likely be relieved of those duties unless something changes.
