NORTH PORT, Fla — An 11-year-old North Port student is in a lot of trouble after text messages show he was threatening to shoot up his school.

In a report, North Port Police say they went to another student's home after their parents found alarming text messages on their child's phone.

The parents showed the officers the group chat between their child and other students.
