CAPE CORAL, Fla. --- A room with people both big and small, were out early preparing food for the hungry Tuesday.

Some were volunteering for the first time while for others this was a familiar place. All coming together at a church in Cape Coral to feed starving people across the world.

"It makes me feel good," said 8-year-old Abby Crawford. "When you do something good for other people, it makes them feel good, too."

Abby works alongside her brother, grandparents and 95-year-old great grandmother helping them package meals.

Feed My Starving Children is a nonprofit organization that distribute tons of nutritious food in two days. The meals are packaged and sealed and sent to an estimated 70 countries worldwide.

Volunteers range from the age of 5-years-old to almost 103-years-old.

"Well, I volunteered to do something here," said Don Clay, Feed My Children volunteer. "I don't know what. Put stickers on something (chuckles)."

No matter the age they're all here for the same thing.

"I want to help people out in the world," said 7-year-old Madison Jackson. "Because it's a nice, generous thing to do.'
