NAPLES, Fla — The NCH Healthcare System has announced that they have purchased the Naples Daily News Building.
The building is on Immokalee Road in North Naples and has more than 186,000 sq ft on an 18-acre lot.
Officials say it is west of the NCH North Naples Hospital campus.
The sale officially closed on Tuesday.
Officials say they plan to relocate NCH administrative support functions like accounting, billing, IT, business office, supply chain, system warehousing, and others to move from the NCH Central Campus
.
“We’re looking forward to increasing some of our operational efficiencies by relocating our support services to the new space,” said Paul Hiltz, president & CEO of the NCH Healthcare System.
“The move of some departments out of the hospital will also give us the opportunity to evaluate how we can better utilize those spaces to enhance patient care. This strategic location helps position us for growth.”
They are expecting the move to be complete in early Spring 2021.
