Two-year-old Nevaeh Rain was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy just months after she was born-- she's unable to walk on her own without assistance. Her mother, Erin, told FOX 4 she's been given an opportunity of a lifetime: world-renowned doctor, T.S. Parks "will preform a Selective Dorsal Rhyziotomy."
Doctor Parks tells Erin, her daughter, Nevaeh is the perfect candidate for the procedure abd within a year, she'll br able to walk on her own.
Erin tells FOX 4, her insurance does not cover the out-of-state surgery which is why a fundraising event will be held tomorrow from 2-7pm at The Parrot Bar and Grill.
Nevaeh's family says they'll be using the money to help cover the surgery, airfare, and hospital stay.
