A Naples man is accused of performing a citizens arrest on a woman and breaking into her car, according to the Collier County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the Sierra Grande apartment complex on Friday in reference to a disturbance.
When officers arrived, the victim, and multiple witnesses stated that an unknown male forcibly restrained a woman and took off.
According to the report, as the victim was pulling away from her apartment, an unknown man, later identified as 51-year-old Kristopher Umpenhour, drove right behind her and slammed on his breaks.
Umpenhour is accused of getting out of his vehicle and walking towards the victim shouting, "You need to learn how to drive, I am sick of the way you people drive", according to a CCSO report.
It was at that time Umpenhour grabbed the victim's arm, twisting it behind her back and performed what he called a "citizen's arrest". He then went inside the victim's car before fleeing from the scene.
After speaking with the leasing office inside the complex, deputies were able to locate Umpenhour.
He was arrested and face Battery and Trespassing charges.
