Murder of 5-year-old Fort Myers boy still unsolved after 5 years

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- This weekend will mark five years since a 5-year-old boy was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in broad daylight in Fort Myers, and police are still looking for the killer.

Andrew Faust, Jr. was fatally wounded by gunfire on October 13, 2014 outside a duplex on Cuba Street.

According to Fort Myers Police, the suspects fired multiple rounds from their location into the courtyard of a housing duplex.

This murder occurred in a busy residential area, in broad daylight, during a time of high vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
