LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- Voters in Lee County are being warned to be aware of a potentially misleading mailer you may get before the August 28th Primary and November 6th General Elections.
The letters are from the Voter Participation Center (VPC) and the Center for Voter Information (CVI), two organizations that are not associated with the Florida Division of Elections or the Lee County Supervisor of Elections.
The mailers can include Florida Voter Registration Applications with information pre-filled out. The mailers are often addressed to informal names, children under voting age, pets, and deceased family members.
Lee County voters should not rely on the information printed on these mailed-out applications but confirm their voter record in the Voter Resources tab, by clicking here. You can also call (239) LEE-VOTE (533-8683.
