COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.-- 84-year-old Catherine Carollo was killed in a crash on Collier Boulevard, at the intersection of Triangle Boulevard in Lely Resort. The crash happened on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol report, Carollo was the passenger in a Buick Lacrosse. The driver was in the Southbound lane, trying to make a left turn, but drove into the center lane Northbound, in front of another car. A Volvo hit the right side of the Buick. The driver of the Volvo and the driver of the Buick only suffered minor injuries.
Charges are under investigation.
