Monday is Memorial Day, and there are several events going on in Southwest Florida that we want to tell you about.

On Monday, the Southwest Florida Military Museum will hold a Memorial Day tribute, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Cape Coral. Food and beverage will be provided as well as entertainment. The event will also have an exhibit of the USS Nimitz. Organizers say they will follow safety guidelines from the CDC.
For more information, visit www.swflmm.org.

The Charlotte County Veterans Council will observe Memorial Day 2020 with a virtual commemoration hosted by the Military Heritage Museum. Use the following link on May 25 at noon to view the Memorial Day Commemoration: https://www.facebook.com/MilitaryHeritageMuseum/
During the Memorial Day Commemoration live cast, the names of loved ones will be posted and shared on a virtual remembrance wall. To submit a name for remembrance, please email the name (photo is optional) and the military branch to info@freedomisntfree.org.
