Mayor shaves head for childhood cancer awareness month in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Let's kick the weekend off with a story that will put a smile on your face!

Fort Myers mayor Randy Henderson went bald for a good cause today.

September is childhood cancer awareness month, and for the second year in a row, Golisano Children's Hospital held a clip for cancer event.

Mayor Henderson, along with several doctors, team members, community leaders, and influential individuals from Southwest Florida had their heads shaved by pediatric cancer patients.
