Fox 4 was there as Sievers walked in smirking toward family members in the courtroom.
The defense made several motions for a new trial, admitted new evidence and called two witnesses to the stand. They were requesting a new trial, following the death sentence Mark Sievers received for his role in the murder of his wife.

In the end, Judge Kyle dismissed those motions calling the new evidence admitted minimal at best.
