On Dec. 10, a patient being evaluated under the Baker Act at Lee Memorial Hospital was detained by police after he ran across the neighboring Fort Myers High School campus in his underwear.

School was in session and went on lockdown for eleven minutes as students and staff watched police apprehend the undressed man on the west side of the campus near the bus ramp.

Classes continued after the incident and parents were notified.
