A Hialeah man was arrested for allegedly stealing a semi tractor from a towing company, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a report.
FHP Troopers responded to Downtown Towing in Miami in reference to a stolen vehicle, Saturday morning.
An employee told Troopers that one of the company's semi tractors was stolen and currently being GPS tracked heading westbound on I-75 in Collier County.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office and FHP were able to locate the tractor traveling westbound on I-75 between mm 97 and mm 105.
A felony traffic stop was conducted and 48-year-old William Morgado was found behind the wheel.
Morgado was arrested and charged with Grand Theft Auto.
He remains at the Naples Jail Center on a $12,000 bond.
