COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — The man responsible for hitting a 13-year-old Naples boy and leaving the scene of the accident was found guilty.
Pedro Silva-Diaz is charged with one count of Leaving the Scene of a Crash Involving Death and one count of Driving with No Driver's License Causing death.
Silva-Diaz maintains he thought a nail went into his tire.
Shayden Colvin was transported to the hospital but unfortunately died as a result of his injuries.

Sentencing for Silva-Diaz is scheduled for October 28th.
He faces up to 35 years in prison.
