A Naples man is accused of punching through the window of a front door into order to break into a home, the Collier County Sheriff's Office said in a report.
Deputies say they responded to a home on Mainsail Dr. in reference to a burglary, Friday.
Upon arrival, the homeowner was located with a blood soaked paper towel on his left hand, CCSO said in a report.
According the homeowner, Brandon Peeples, 37, came to the home in search of his mother. When the homeowner told him she was not inside, Brandon is accused of trying to enter the house and even punching through the front window in order to get in, according to a report.
It was at that time the homeowner received several small cuts from the glass hitting him.
Brandon then fled the scene but was later located by deputies in the area.
He was arrested and charged with Burglary and Battery.
He remains at the Naples Jail Center on a $10,00 bond.
