Man facing several DUI charges in Cape Coral crash

CAPE CORAL, Fla — A Cape Coral man is facing several DUI charges after police arrest him under a warrant penned by the Cape Coral Police Department’s Major Crash investigators.

Investigators say the case is from a crash on April 19th.

The case was sent to the State Attorney’s Office for a warrant request and was approved on October 19th, 2020.

Investigators say, based on CCPD Major Crash Investigator Barkley’s original warrant Mathaniel Allen Tuller was taken into custody by the Fort Myers Police Department on Monday.

He has been charged with DUI Causing Serious Bodily Injury, DUI with a BAC of .15% or higher, and two counts of DUI Causing Property Damage.

Police say the driver of Vehicle 2 in the crash in April, Javier M. Flores, was issued a criminal citation for Operating a Motor Vehicle with No Driver License.

Flores was also issued two citations for the two children that were not in car seats.
