HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — A 66-year-old Hendry County man died in a car crash on US-27 and County Road 720 Friday night.
The Florida Highway says the driver was traveling north in the outside lane of US Highway 27, approaching the intersection of County Road 720 when he lost control.
Troopers say the driver entered the ditch, and the car overturned. Authorities say he was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Troopers say the crash remains under investigation.
