A seven-month long investigation has lead to the arrest of a Fort Myers man accused of killing a 20-year-old in a car crash, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies say Terrence J. Bright, 29, was was traveling 88 mph in a posted 45 mph zone west on Lee Boulevard on June 11, 2017.
Bright is accused of crashing into another vehicle driven by 20-year-old Erick Rosales. Rosales died from injuries sustained from the impact, LCSO said.
Bright's blood alcohol concentration level was determined to be .179 and tested positive for THC.
He was arrested on Wednesday and face Driving Under the Influence – Manslaughter and Vehicular Homicide charges.
