ENGLEWOOD, Fla. — A St. Petersburg man has been arrested for attempted burglary of an Englewood home that left two dead.

Bradley Scheuerer, 31 and Jonathon Robinson, 27, entered the home on Turner Street on Nov. 9, when Scheuerer informed a woman who was laying on the ouch that they were there to rob them but not hurt them, according to reports.

They were attempting to steal equipment used to make Marijuana Wax, a highly concentrated form of THC, also known as DAB. Scheuerer and the victims recently had a falling out over the sale of DAB, and he was described as acting erratic.

A man who was in the bedroom heard the commotion. He and Robinson got into a fight, leaving both seriously injured. Scheuerer was seen fleeing in a rental van, leaving Robinson behind to die.

Another witness in the home called 911, stating there was a burglary and two were injured. When deputies arrived they found the bodies of the victim and Robinson.

Detectives identified the van through neighborhood surveillance footage. It had been rented out of St. Petersburg where Scheuerer and Robinson both lived, and where they intended to haul the equipment.

Scheuerer was arrested by St. Petersburg police Friday evening and charged with Attempted Armed Robbery, and Burglary Battery (Principle). He remains at the Pinellas County Jail.

Investigators continue to work on this case in collaboration with the State Attorney’s Office to potentially bring additional charges to others who may be involved.

The name of the victim will not be released due to Marsy’s Law.
