Lee Schools "Active Shooter Threat" seminar for parents

LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- The Lee County Sheriff's Office and the School District of Lee County will show parents how to respond and prevent an active shooter threat. The "Active Threat: Prevention and Response for Parents" seminar will be held Saturday, September 21st, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.

There will be three sections: prevention, training, and a panel discussion.

  • The prevention section will help parents identify the signs and symptoms for a potential threat.
  • The training part will show parents the exercises that students and staff are participating in at their school.
  • At the end, trained professionals will address questions and concerns.
