NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — A 67-year-old North Fort Myers man was hit and killed while walking across Pine Island Rd. late Thursday night.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was attempting to cross Pine Island Rd. near Woodward Avenue around 9:38 p.m. when the driver of a Nissan Altima collided with him.
The man was pronounced dead on scene.
