LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The City of Fort Myers is dedicating a street in Valerie’s House honor.
The street is currently known as Shoemaker Lane but will change to "Valerie's House Way".
The renaming will take place on Thursday at 1 p.m.
The Fort Myers Mayor Kevin Anderson and City Council members will also be in attendance.
