Lee Co. Department of Health lifts health alert at Franklin Locks

OLGA, Fla. — After the Florida Department of Environmental Protection sampled the area, they did not detect the presence of microcystin toxins.

The DOH reminds people that, when toxins are detected, they should avoid contact with the water while using the boat ramp.
