FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Fort Myers Police Department is investigating a deadly crash involving a driver and a motorized wheelchair.
According to police, a person in a wheelchair was hit and killed late Sunday night near Winkler Avenue and Colonial Boulevard.
It's not clear if the wheelchair was in a crosswalk.
The driver stayed at the scene and the crash is under investigation.
