LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A woman who was arrested last year in one of Lee County’s largest drug-trafficking operations in its history was back in court Tuesday.
Pretrial officers said 34-year-old Melissa Cossio violated her release by attempting to tamper with or damage her GPS monitoring equipment.
A judge set her bond for the eight drug trafficking charges at $12.1 million.
Cossio along with five other people was arrested last May 2021.
