LEE COUNTY, Fla. --- The County Sheriff's Office is encouraging local women to sign up for its crime prevention program classes.
The crime prevention programs, also known as S.A.F.E (Self-defense Awareness and Familiarization Exchange), will be held each month beginning September 1st and is geared towards young girls and women.
The key components of the S.A.F.E. class will provide attendees with personal safety information, basic physical techniques, a variety of options and common-sense strategies.
Classes are 2-hours long and are held at the Sheriff's Office headquarters located at 14750 Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers. Scheduling is restricted to the first 20 participants who register online.

- Saturday, November 17, 2018 10:00am-noon Open Registration
