On Oct. 21, U.S. Marshalls found several narcotics while serving a warrant on Leonard Pitters, on the 1100 block of NE 11th St., Cape Coral. Pitters was wanted for an active assault case from June 17, where he battered and later threatened his victim at gunpoint.

Lee deputies assumed the investigation and obtained a warrant to search the property, in which they seized more than a kilo of cocaine (1,072 grams), a half kilo of fentanyl (536 grams), and more than half a kilo of heroin (840 grams). Additionally, 9 grams of crack cocaine, oxycodone and hydrocodone pills, two firearms, and $87,452 in cash from suspected narcotics sales were seized.
