LEE COUNTY, Fla. - The Lee County School District hired a new Director of Safety and Security.
Rick Parfitt says he has some big ideas when it comes to protecting your children. Some of those ideas are detailed in a video released by the school district.
All of the schools will undergo a risk assessment over the summer, and school resource officers and building supervisors will be on hand to help with plans to secure every school.
