LEE COUNTY, Fla. — June 1st is not only the start of hurricane season, but it also kicks off micro-chip your pet month.
Micro-chipping allows you to be reunited with your pet in the event you become separated.
Lee County Domestic Animal Services is offering $10 micro-chipping Monday's through Fridays from 8 am to 1 pm in June.
For pet owners in Charlotte County, the animal welfare league is hosting a micro-chipping event on Saturday, June 15th from 9 am to 12 pm. The cost for this is $25.
