GATEWAY, Fla. — The Lee Board of County Commissioners Met today and approved roundabouts for the Gateway Blvd and Commerce Lakes Drive Intersection.
A study on the intersection revealed from 2015 to 2018 there had been 50 right-angle crashes and 75 crashes overall.
Gateway Boulevard and Griffin Drive have had 24 reported right-angle crashes and 33 crashes of all types overall.
Miscellaneous Professional Services, for the design, permitting, and post design services of Gateway Boulevard and Commerce Lakes Drive intersection improvements is not to exceed the amount of $187,687.00.
Construction won’t begin till 2020 for one and 2021 for Gateway Boulevard and Griffin Drive.
