LEHIGH ACRES, Fla — The Lee County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man they say is responsible for a deadly shooting in Lehigh Acres.
Sheriff Carmine Marceno says on September 29th, Jameslee Senatus was located in Miami and taken into custody.
He says on June 20th, deputies responded to Irene Ave South and 23rd St SW for a shooting.
They found a male with a gunshot wound in the area.
He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation and hundreds of hours of follow-up. Sheriff Marceno says they were able to identify Senatus as the killer.
Senatus is charged with Second Degree Murder.
