One subject was taken into custody following an investigation that lasted several hours in Lehigh Acres, Thursday.
Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies were in the area of 4th Street SW near Floyd Avenue S. after an individual was barricaded inside of a home.
While deputies were at the scene. A series of loud shots were heard in the neighborhood.
A this time there is no threat to the public, LCSO said.
