Foster homes are filling up quickly and children need a place to go. In some cases, homes are overflowing and families are forced to take in more kids than they can handle. Foster parents in Cape Coral and Fort Myers are asking for help from anyone willing.

Foster families only receive fourteen to sixteen dollars per day for each foster child. Between food, clothes, and other living essentials, foster families are barely getting by.

Former foster child, Allyson Alperin-Rosen says that foster homes are important and they can be impactful. Her foster home "showed what unconditional love was".

Mandy Goldenberg, a foster mother, adoptive mother, and Guardian ad Litem expresses her desire to support foster children. "If we don't speak up for them, who will? They're under 18, no one will listen. We have to be their voice."
