K9 dog bitten by snake while searching for baby Andrew in Everglades

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is asking for well wishes.

K9 Phi was in the Everglades assisting the FBI in the continuing search of baby Andrew.

Phi was bitten by a water moccasin snake.

Anti-venom was given to Phi and he is currently being monitored.

His prognosis for recovery looks good.

There is an $8,000 reward leading to the safe return of a missing baby boy.

Andrew Caballiero would now be about a month old and has been missing since Jan. 28.
