Julia Ann Drudy pleads no contest sentenced to sixty days in jail

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The woman accused of letting her boyfriend drive a vehicle crashed and killed his two young sons was in court today.

In November, Cape Coral Police investigated two children's death after a car crashed into a canal.

Police say the car went into the water, and alcohol and drugs are a factor.

In December, Police arrested Kenneth Wayne Lawson for the canal crashed that submerged his vehicle, killing his two young sons.

Lawson's girlfriend, Julia Ann Drudy, faced charges and was arrested and charged with Permitting an Unauthorized Operator to Drive.

Drudy had court today, giving up the right to trial.

Drudy Pled no contest.

She was sentenced to sixty days in jail, has credit 43.

Drudys license will be suspended for one year because it resulted in death.

She's being adjudicated guilty.
