CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Cape Coral Officers responded to a call regarding an intoxicated individual who refused to pay a bar tab on April 4th.

Police responded to Backstreets in the Downtown Bar District.

Daniel Elliott, 40, eventually paid his bar tab and left.

Officers said a short time later, Elliott was involved in a disturbance at Rack ‘em Spirits and Times.

During this disturbance, Elliott was alleged to have threatened a patron with a knife.

While officers were speaking with Elliott, a bouncer from Rusty’s Raw Bar and Grill identified Daniel Elliott as the person who threatened him with a knife after being escorted out of Rusty’s Raw Bar and Grill earlier.

After Elliott was detained, a large, fixed blade knife was found in his front right pants pocket.

Elliott was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Disorderly Intoxication.
