CAPE CORAL, Fla. — UPDATE: The intersection has reopened.

A traffic crash has closed caused a road blockage in the eastbound lanes of Diplomat Parkway and NE 24th Avenue.
Cape Coral Police say the intersection is expected to be closed for a few hours to clean up a gas leak from one of the cars.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and used an alternate route for the time being.
