13TH ANNUAL DR. MARTIN LUTHER LINK JR. UNITY BREAKFAST
The vision for the breakfast is to bring together diverse members of the community and serve as an example of “unity” as envisioned by Dr. King. It takes place on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center located at 2301 First St., Ft. Myers, FL., beginning at 7:30AM.
PEACE MARCH IN FORT MYERS:
Southwest Florida is honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Dunbar Festival Committee is hosting the commemorative Peace March on Monday in Fort Myers. Roads along the route will close at 10:30 a.m. The march begins at 11 at the Dunbar Jupiter Hammond Library and goes down MLK Boulevard to Centennial Park. The all-day festival will go on until 6 p.m. at the park. It will feature local students, artists, and other performers.
MLK PARADE IN NAPLES:
Fox 4 Anchors Patrick Nolan and Shari Armstrong will team up at the MLK Parade in Naples on Monday. They will be in the storm Fox weather Jeep representing Fox 4 in the parade. It starts at 11 a.m. from the corner of Broad and Third Street in downtown Naples. A celebration at Cambier Park will follow the parade.
