FORT MYERS, Fla. — Wednesday people remembered a girl who was killed in a hit and run accident back in January.
It would have been Alana Tamplin's 13th birthday.
She was hit and killed near a bus stop in North Fort Myers.
The scene where it happened is now marked with a memorial, filled with teddy bears and flowers.
The driver in that case eventually returned to the scene.
