PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — A1 Plumbing received a call for service at a Port Charlotte home.
Upon arrival, they found exploded fixtures as a result of a lightning strike near the septic tank.
A1 Plumping says, when the lightning met with the methane gas of fecal matter it ignited an explosion of the tank, sewer system and inside plumbing.
There were no fatalities, only a small injury to the homeowner.
