LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Lee County deputies are investigating a hit and run crash that damaged a home.

Deputies say the crash happened just before 2 a.m. Thursday morning on the 18000 block of Oriole Road, just south of San Carlos Boulevard, in Fort Myers.

No word yet if deputies are looking for the driver, or if anyone was hurt.

A neighbor told Four in your Corner, a car was speeding down a long stretch on Bamboo Road, blew pass the stop sign causing tire tracks on the road, then plowed right into a family's home.

You can see a massive hole where the car slammed into what appears to be a bedroom inside the home.

The neighbor also says he saw patrol cars, a fire truck and ambulance all on scene.

He also says he witnessed a man being arrested on scene, and being put in the back of a deputy's car.

An update will be available as soon as there's more information.
