Hendry County Agricultural deputy impounds six cows

HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — On Jan. 26, Hendry County agricultural deputies captured and transported six cows to the Sheriff’s Office impound.

The following livestock were found near 1080 Case Rd., in Labelle:

1 solid Black Angus cow

1 solid Black Angus with white spots on the facial area

1 Yearling Red heifer with a white face

1 Yearling Holstein bull mostly black with a white tip on the tail

1 Yearling Charolais bull

1 6-month-old Charolais bull calf with a white face

Deputies say the two black cows have injured right hind legs, and none of the livestock were branded.

To claim ownership of the cows, please calls Hendry County Sheriff’s Office at 863-674-5600 and ask to speak with an Agricultural Deputy reference to case HCSO21OFF000273, or you may also contact Agricultural Deputy Brianna Davis at 863-673-2066.

Under Florida Law, if the cows are not claimed in three days they may become the property of the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office.
